Steve Mitchinson
Steve Mitchinson is the principal and founder of Success Quadrants and has extensive senior executive and professional services experience across a diverse range of industries in both the public and private sectors and draws on an extensive network of trusted colleagues across Australia to optimise the outcomes for all clients.
A business optimisation and strategy expert with over 25 years’ experience advising a wide range of respected enterprises and government agencies across Australia, Steve is recognised as a thought leader in operational efficiency, customer management, organisational change and employee engagement and performance having pioneered and delivered many innovative and effective business improvement strategies across a wide range of clients.
Steve has recently returned to consulting after a lengthy contract transforming service delivery capability for the West Australian Government. Initially contracted to the Department of Transport, where his team was awarded the IPAA 2020 Digital Innovation in Government award, Steve was then appointed the inaugural Chief Customer Officer for the WA Government and established ServiceWA which leveraged the capabilities he and his team had developed across Transport. He led the initial development, implementation and communication of the ServiceWA program, bringing together a broad range of transactions across multiple agencies into a connected and improved customer service framework for the WA Government. This project contributed to further developing the service delivery capability of the Departments involved to maximise the benefits of reform by leading systems, behavioural and business process change required across the department and the sector.
During that time Steve’s team were also responsible for establishing and managing the states COVID19 hotline and the team that processed the G2G border control applications without compromising business as usual.
Steve is also a highly respected practitioner with Herrmann International and has been delivering his unique Thinking for Success programs around Australia for many years, assisting individuals, teams and whole enterprises to achieve greater success across all aspects of the business and personal lives.
